"A Little boy and a Fish" by: Pamela V. Bolencis A little boy had been fishing for along time but without luck. At last he tugged at his net and saw a small fish caught in it. "Please let me go," begged the fish, "I will grow bigger in a few days and then you can catch me again."  The little boy said, "Now that I have caught you I won't let you go. If I leave you, I may never see you again."

Reflection of my experiences in undertaking the 21st Century Literature from the Phil. and the World

Writing and literary works doesn't tickle my fancy. However, after learning about the history of Philippine literature and how it evolved and changed as time passed, I discovered how fascinating it was. In the four months that I've been studying 21st-century literature from the Philippines and around the world, I've learnt a lot about our literature: how it began, what kinds/types/forms it takes, the numerous genres it encompasses, and so on. Little tiny fingers grasping a hand, I just received such precious gift to be had. Sitting, singing while acting in the bench never feel so sad. One-day I'm with you my loving truly dad.

SINIGANG Moral Values and it's Impact to me us 21st Century Learner

Activity 2 - Blog  One thing that a short narrative can teach us is moral principles that we can implement in our daily lives. Because of the lessons they may teach us, short stories can even influence our perspective on life. Sinigang by Marie Aubrey Villaceran taught me a variety of values that I can apply in my daily life. This story taught me a lot, particularly about families.       SINIGANG  by: Marie Aubrey Villaceran Husbands commit adultery on a regular basis in the Philippines, but it is not a frequent occurrence. Why should we call adultery ordinary when it is never a good thing to do? Apart from the personal delight of the one who committed adultery, it would never benefit us. Men and women are both men and women. We are all human beings who make mistakes, but the difference is that we have the ability to choose and are taught simple lessons such as avoiding cheating. We all have a mind of our own, and we all know what is right and wrong. We can neve...
